Down with Resin Floral Preservation Terms

  1. Natural Colour Changes
All flowers react differently during the drying and preservation process. Some blooms — especially white or pale flowers — may deepen in tone, become slightly translucent, or develop soft yellow or brown hues over time. These changes are completely natural and are not considered faults.

  2. Condition of Flowers on Arrival

The outcome of your piece is influenced by the condition of your flowers when they arrive. Flowers that are aged, wilted, bruised, or heat-affected may preserve differently. While we take great care throughout the process, we cannot reverse pre-existing deterioration.

  3. Design Variations:

All arrangements are created by hand using natural materials. Because of this, the final layout, sizing, or spacing of blooms may vary slightly from examples or inspiration images. We always work to honour the look and feel of your original bouquet.

  4. Processing Timeframes

Floral preservation is a careful, multi-stage process. Completion typically takes 8–12 weeks, depending on flower type, moisture levels and workload. Timeframes are an estimate only.

  5. Resin Characteristics

Resin is a handmade medium and may contain very small air bubbles, natural texture, or minor surface variations. These characteristics do not affect the integrity of the piece.

  6. Long-Term Care

To keep your piece looking its best, please display it indoors only, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, or high humidity (such as bathrooms or kitchens). We recommend avoiding prolonged exposure to UV light, storing in a stable climate, and gently dusting with a dry microfiber cloth only. Improper storage or environmental exposure may cause gradual colour changes in both the flowers and the resin.
